Announcing: "In Light of What We Write"

“In Light of What We Write” is a cutting-edge, multi-discipline, multi-media arts event with a literary core. Curated and organised by Linda Kaoma and Michael Pedersen, in partnership with British Council Connect ZA; the event will showcase unique, experimental and experiential content to illustrate the accessibility of literature.

The event will comprise of both an exhibition and live performances, and will feature a melange of works by writers and performers from South Africa and the UK. This exhibiting of material alongside live performances will create an environment that bolsters human interaction and new artistic collaborations.

“In Light of What We Write” will take place on 17th February at YoungBloodAfrica’s Beautiful Life Building (70 – 72 Bree Street). The exhibition will be open to the public from 4pm to 6pm, and the live performance will commence at 6pm – 8pm.
